Hello my name is Andre, as a Reiki teacher and practitioner certified in the Usui tradition, I am immersed in the practices of energy works, including Shamanism, Tai Chi, and various forms of meditation. My Story My journey started with a childhood fascination with the subtle forces beyond the tangible world. My formal training began at the age of 19 with the attunement into Reiki Level I. The following year I progressed to Level II and additionally delved into the depths of shamanic practices. Imagine Reiki as a specific energetic frequency. Much like how mobile phones, radios, televisions, and the internet utilize invisible frequencies for their operation, distant Reiki functions similarly. To work efficiently, they all require alignment with their unique frequency. Each of these devices is equipped with mechanisms to regulate this frequency, enabling us to activate, deactivate, or utilize them as required. In the realm of quantum physics, entangled quantum particles communicate with each other instantaneously regardless of their distance apart. This phenomenon aligns with the concept of distant Reiki, where the energy is "tuned" to the individual it is directed towards. Once this energetic alignment is established, the energy flows naturally through existing energetic pathways, similar to how entangled particles communicate. ​ During a Distant Reiki session, the practitioner focuses on the recipient's energy field. Spinal Muscular Atrophy - a neurological condition that affects your nervous system and progressive effects on the muscle. Why does massage therapy benefit you? Well apart from the regular benefits massage therapy gives everyone to help you relax, it helps my joints, the stiffness, as I am staying in the same position for a long time and helps relieve the knots out of my muscles. What do you enjoy about the treatment? I like how I feel after the treatment and it also helps that the massage therapist is very nice too. A. Featherstone What is your disability? Arthrogryposis- a muscle disorder that causes multiple joint contractures at birth. A contracture is a limitation in the range of motions in the joint. Why does massage therapy benefit you? It helps me to relax and releases tension out of the muscles. Also, the stretching feels good for my joints. What do you enjoy about the treatment? ​ Soothing and it makes me feel better for the week. Clears my mind for a bit. P. Mee What is your disability?
